I'm captivated by the textures in my surroundings—the bark of trees, the ruggedness of walls, and the reflections off mirrors. These elements vary remarkably from place to place, with time further altering their appearance. This observation drives me to document these textures, much like photography, as a foundation for my creative process.
My love for paint and color has been a constant in my art. Beyond traditional painting, I've developed a technique I call "surface casting," using acrylic paint to capture the essence of our environments. This method translates the intricate details of our surroundings, offering a unique perspective on the world around us.
